Group Life Insurance Policies: The Finance Department, Government of Sindh has issued a letter on 27-05-2024 regarding Group Life Insurance Policies for Government Retired Employees / Pensioners. The Government of Sindh has requested Finance Departments of the provinces to provide information regarding rules regarding group insurance in their provinces. Subject: Group Life Insurance Policies
I am directed to refer to the subject noted above and to state that various pensioners / retired employees’ Welfare Associations are approaching this department for the adoption of Group Life Insurance policies as effective in the Govt of KPK and the Govt of Baluchistan.
It is, therefore, requested that the respective Group Life Insurance Act/rules/regulations/policies as applicable to the employees / civil servants of your esteemed Government May Kindly be shared with this department, so that a comparative analysis and subsequent decision-making for revision in the prevailing Group Insurance Scheme for Civil Servants of Government of Sindh may be processed accordingly in the matter.
